Table saw working bee

Description

A combined working bee and training session, with intent of both getting the table saw back to optimal working order, and training DMs and others interested in machine maintenance volunteering to better understand the mechanics of the table saw and how to resolve issues with it.

The main goal of the session will be to disassemble the add-on tables in order to get full access to the saw cabinet, and then re-align the sawblade and fence to the table. Aside from blade alignment, you’ll also learn about checking for and resolving clogs in the extraction system, cleaning the gears to make the elevation and tilt adjustments run smoother, and handling other known problems.

Open to anyone who is interested in helping maintain our equipment. The second session will continue from the first, so it’s ideal if you can attend both, but feel free to attend only one day if that’s all that your availability permits.
