Soldering Induction

Description

Please note that in order to be able to use our electronics and soldering station you will have to take this induction class.

In this 30 minute class, you will learn the health and safety aspects relating to all our soldering equipment. You will also be shown how to use the tools, get hands-on time and tips and tricks for each tool

You will learn:

• Wire-stripping
• Solder
• Heat-shrink
• Circuit testing

If you have experience with the above and believe that you already possess the skills taught in this session, please write us at maker.community.inc@gmail.com to arrange for an assessment to determine if we can approve you for the tools without the skill teaching session. You will, however, still need to attend a session to cover the health and safety aspects for the machine and space use.
